Atlanta, Georgia, February 8, 2002 - Stanley introduces more than a dozen new sku's to its Goldblatt® line of concrete hand tools. This innovative new line of hand tools has been redesigned to deliver increased strength, comfort, performance and "clean-a-bility" to the professional concrete worker. The new look and features have been added to the full line of magnesium floats, finishing trowels, edgers and groovers.

Magnesium Floats
Stanley Goldblatt brings redesigned functionality and aesthetics to its line of magnesium floats which include a bevel-end cast magnesium float, extruded magnesium float and a round-end extruded magnesium float. The new floats feature a three-position handle which gives the user a variety of positions to grip the tool allowing for extended reach and the use of two hands. The handle height has been lowered to give the tool a lower center of gravity and improved user control. The durable one-piece composite handle design has a rubber over-molded, slip-resistant grip to provide comfort and a better grip. The one-piece handle does not have a screw so it is easier to clean and does not need tightening.

Finishing Trowels
The Stanley® Goldblatt® line of finishing trowels now features a new, solid one-piece composite handle which has a rubber over-molded ergonomically designed slip-resistant grip to maximize comfort, increase grip and reduce fatigue during extended use. The trowels are not only more comfortable, but more durable with a new proprietary tang design which increases handle strength up to 300 pounds and improves the life of the tool. The blade attachment has been enhanced with electrically fused rust-resistant studs to give the blade improved strength for long life.

Edgers and Groovers
Stanley Goldblatt extends innovative design and durability to its line of stainless steel edgers and groovers. The new tools feature a solid, one-piece composite handle for increased durability, and a rubber over-molded ergonomically designed slip-resistant grip to maximize comfort and increase grip. The handle-to-blade attachment has been improved to increase the life of the tool around the jobsite. The no-screw handle never needs tightening and is easier to clean. Limited models are available with a heavy-duty bronze blade to provide extra durability and crisp, sharp edges.
