NEW YORK, NY – JUNE 25, 2009 – Stanley® introduced today three black chrome socket sets during a new product introduction at the Westin New York Hotel. With their bodies forged from chrome vanadium, each piece provides extraordinary torque and professional-grade durability. Their patented Max-Drive design provides a tighter fit over fasteners to deliver 15% more torque than traditional socket wrenches. This feature works in tandem with six-point and eight-point sockets for reduced fastener rounding and/or slippage. Their size markings are laser-etched for improved visibility. Additionally, each socket wrench features a quick-release & reversible mechanism for easy operation. Their ergonomic handles help the user gain a firm grip on the socket wrench for a slip-resistant operation.
All components found in the Stanley® black chrome sets either meet or exceed ANSI specifications. Each of the three kits include pear-head ratchets, deep well sockets, standard sockets, a spinner handle, extension bars, spark plug sockets, a set of bits, and a durable plastic carry case.
